Years ago, my husband and out went out to eat (was the day before our 1st child was born). And we had the worst service EVER, the hostess took our drink order, then left. And I mean left the building, his shift was over. Then the waiter took our drink order and messed it up, how one can mess up 1 diet soda and 1 tea I don't know but he did. Then he totally forgot my salad, after asking for it twice. Then when the entree came the steaks were like shoe leather. I wanted to talk to the manager and complain, but my husband took the hand of his VERY pregnant wife and said let's just go, at least he didn't leave a tip. I did write a letter to the manager of the local restaurant and to the main office. We recieve almost $60 worth of gift cards to try again. My point, is sometimes waiting a few days to calm down and writing a letter can have a more positive impact, and who knows maybe the restuarant will send some gift cards to try again.
